Our Story
Back in 1964, Caesar's Chicken opened its doors on Hesperian Boulevard with a simple mission: serve the crispiest fried chicken in the East Bay, every single day. What started as a small family operation has become a Hayward institution — three generations deep and still going strong.
The recipe hasn't changed because it didn't need to. Fresh chicken arrives daily. Every piece is hand-breaded in our signature seasoning, fried to a crackling golden crust, and served with the kind of sides your grandmother would recognize — creamy coleslaw, buttery garlic bread, and rich homestyle spaghetti.
Today, 97% of everything on our menu is still made from scratch, in-house, by the same hands that have been feeding this community for over six decades. That's not a marketing line — it's just how we do things. When you walk through our door, you're family.
